Marcelo, 17 years old, lives confined to his bedroom. When his father dies in mysterious circumstances, he decides to embark on a journey in search of the truth.

Marcelo is basically a good person, but his kindness is close to naivety. His days have always been divided between his scientific research, his solo black metal band and his mother. Then one day, two events turn his life upside down: the failure of his final exam and the mysterious death of his father, Ziad, a doctor and famous anthropologist in Brazil. Determined to investigate Ziad’s disappearance, he joins forces with his uncle, a fake shaman and a fraudster, for an adventure to the other side of the world where he will discover what is really at stake.
