Emma has a perfectly normal family until one day she discovers that her father, Thomas, is transgender. When Thomas becomes Agnete, both father and daughter struggle to keep what they had, while accepting that everything has changed.

Emma is 11 years old, plays football, a passion passed on by her father from an early age, has a 14-year-old sister and a happy life until her parents announce their intention to divorce. Thomas, the father, has decided to change sex and become Agnete. This radical change will cause a trauma to each member of the family, which they will individually try to deal with. Emma’s journey will be the hardest.
