In an era of endless possibilities, we’re the ones who just don’t keep staring. We’re the ones who hold the space for those who have the guts to grab their cameras and hit the road, climb steep mountains, lonely islands, forgotten suburbs. We’re the ones who give voice to you when you give voice to others. When you tell us about the causes that keep you awake at night and the stories nobody ever hears of.

At the Riviera International Film Festival, we award movies from the bravest international directors under 35 and documentaries directed by talents of any age thanks to exceptional jurors, coming from the top of the global film, news, and TV industries and the best of the international activist scene.
We pave the way to those who crave spreading the word, the tenacity to never give up, the courage to make it with no access to crazy high budgets. Because independent cinema is freedom of self-expression. And true rebellion can only be against indifference.

The masterclasses at Riviera International Film Festival and the RIFF Pith Lab are top-level workshops held by some of the best directors, producers, actors and professionals in the world.
